Matilda Yellow Green

With charming paper-based model Matilda, Morris & Co. has given a historic wallpaper pattern by architect and designer Philipp Webb a new lease of life. Stylised wild roses entwine around a wooden trellis, birds in warm yellow hues perch on thorny branches, and delicate insects complete the impression of a warm day towards the end of the summer. Lighter in colour than the original design, Matilda provides antique furniture in dark wood shades or in white with an enchantingly sunny backdrop.
