The colours and shapes of the stylised leaves and flowers designed by British artist J. H. Dearles at the turn to the 20th century compete with each other for effect on charming paper-based model Wispa. Regal lilies, bright red tulips, small delicate yellow flowers and sweeping leaves and tendrils in shades of blue and green are unmistakably depicted in the tradition of William Morris and his contemporaries.
